Al-jazeera is simply telling its Arab audience what they want to hear just like the Iraqi information minister did. Notice how al-jazeera's "Persuit of Arab Reform" section got shelved because the audience would rather read about west bashing. Al-jazeera attempted to raise their credibility by simply copying CNN's web design. It seems to me that Al-jazeera's audience are so new to this internet thing that they'll believe any conspiracy theory, or propaganda wrapped in a ripped-off web design. "The American pigs are nowhere near Baghdad!" Play on Arab pride to sell advertising.
